Oh, ok. I thought it was something else, that maybe I'd known. I've never heard of the original MonoPoly.

A music store I sometimes frequent is blowing out the Behringer MS-20 modules for half price.
Where are they blowing them out?
I would be interested in this info as well.
Moog Audio in Toronto.

Behringer MonoPoly pt. 2
This is going to be INCREDIBLY tempting... Not sure how I could justify NOT buying it....

What if they're working on a PolySix next? Would MonoPoly still be better than using a PolySix as a monosynth?

I’ve always preferred the MonoPoly over the PolySix. To my ears it’s just a more interesting synth.

I agree, too. I also have two Juno 106s, so I don't really need "that" thing.

Same here, I had both lying around in the studio and the MonoPoly got so much more use.

I'm still on the list for the KARP 2600....my delivery date is way off in June though. I suppose the current situation will have a bearing too. Will have to wait and see.
My order was cancelled yesterday by Gear 4 Music after many delays. There were 14 of us left on the G4M list, but Korg have stopped manufacturing them for the foreseeable future due to 'production issues' and are only able to send G4M four more.

I am quite disappointed...since I've followed the story pretty closely since Korg leaked a photo around 5 years ago.

Only glimmer is that they haven't discontinued it as yet..so it is possible they will start making them again.

but you have a real one right? or did you sell it? I got to play the Korg before it was announced. Compared to an old one we restored, I did not want one.

Yeah, I've seen that! I'm in the UB-XA group on facebook, constantly looking for crumbs of information :D

The added features are cool. It's nice that they're doing that, though it's still annoying that they basically finished it and already had it out before they decided to do that. :fp: At any rate, I'm gonna be fighting my way to the front of the line to give them my money when it's finally released.

Gonna need a Rhodes to rest it on.

Yeh I had the real one but sold it..it kept breaking down all the time and I got fed up with it. The faders were crackly after cleaning and I hate the repro faders...but I missed it and thought Karp would be new with a guarantee..so much more reliable. I’m over it now I have a Jupiter 8 back hahah
