Did we have this one already?
I just saw this in a fb-group I‘m in - and though this belongs in here!
I don’t have any back-info yet - if anyone does - feel free to share! :)

Yes, I believe it’s somewhere in this thread. That could actually be fixed perhaps

Yeah, I've seen worse.

A pie-shaped insert replacing those dots & the rest of the butt end wouldn't be too hard, if you had the skills.

Find a tailpiece, bridge & a nicer, less molested guard & you're golden.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Honestly that’s one of the least offensive things I’ve seen in here. Given the choice I’d rather do it with a squier, but that’s not THAT intrusive. I like it

I've legitimately GAS'd over this for about a decade then. I love MFDs and can only imagine how they'd sound in a jag.

Apparently, it's a Les Paul jr. from 1955.

Hahaha, that's truly appalling :k

Terrible to think that at some point a guy was like 'YEAH GONNA UPGRADE THIS OLD BUDGET GUITAR INTO SOMETHING MODERN AND USABLE', and was convinced enough they were doing the right thing to actually put the effort in.

Even more? Why is that. Never heard the tuning was unstable. You sure that's not internet folklore?
