Holy heck, is that ever looking and sounding amazing.

I'm so happy that it turned out so well. The new mics sound great too!

Thanks! I am much happier with the mic setup. It helps the guitars sound more like they do in real life. Much better than my cell phone's mic. :D It is a WONDERFUL guitar. :D Plays and sounds amazing. I love it.

It honestly sounds better than my '65 Jag. From what I can tell through YT, I'd put it on par with my '62, which is the best-sounding Jaguar I've had. I'm also really impressed with how quiet it is. Assuming you're using the same amp/setup as your previous demos, it's got less hum than the "noiseless" Lace Sensors in the Blood Moon Marauder (which are technically single coils and not humbucking, but are nearly noiseless functionally).

Some parts guitars are kinda lemons, and some just have "it" and this definitely turned out to be the latter!

I agree. I can’t believe how quiet it is. Amp settings are pretty much my typical settings. These pickups are just not noises which is weird because they aren’t humbuckers. Normally only the middle would be totally quiet with this. I guess the claws and shielding plates are making a big difference. Not sure what else it could be.

Thanks! I love the pitting on the tremolo and the brass looking arm sleeve. The chrome aging is cool when real. :)

Awesome guitar, there's something special about putting together a guitar like this.

Btw...that's a '64 in my book, if the wood and most important parts are all from that year, it's as if you had had to replace some parts on a regular guitar.

It is pretty much all 64 parts except the electronic plates. The most important parts are from 64. :) Neck, body, tremolo, and pickups.

I just posted this in the Sherwood Green Jaguar thread by accident...

What a glorious looking Jaguar! Excellent job indeed, love the unusual colour :)

Here's a picture of my '62 with the original trem arm in case you wanted to replicate the bend with your AVRI arm. They look so oddly straight to me as I'm accustomed to the bent arm of a vintage guitar or a Mastery arm.

I think I painted that body about 8 years ago!
