I've always wished that the red in the burst on my '64 was a little less faded.

I wish my Marr Jaguar were as proportionally big on me (at over 6 ft) as it is on Marr himself.

I wish my Vintage White CIJ Jag was Olympic White or CAR, with matching headstock. I've thought about trying to find a body in the right color, but this guitar plays so incredibly great as it is now I'm not sure I want to take the chance.

I’ve owned it for about 20 years now and have never oiled the fretboard. It’s insane how oily that Brazilian rosewood is! It’s definitely something special. I’ve always liked clay dots too. Both of my Jaguars have mother of toilet seat though (a late ‘64 in CAR and an early ‘65 in OW).johnnysomersett wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 1:02 pmYeah, maybe, but that dark as hades Brazilian board makes up for iti love sharin foo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:18 amI've always wished that the red in the burst on my '64 was a little less faded.

I wish my 65 Sunburst Jag would morph into a 65 Jazzmaster with the same profile neck…

I too wish this.
I wish I got along with Jazzmasters, though.
Coming back to my '65 jag after playing anything else just feels like coming home!
Though I do wish the gd trem would stay in tune. It's finicky, even with a mastery.

I mean, I kinda wish my MIJ Jazzmaster would morph into a 1954 Stratocaster
...but that's mostly for financial reasons

The pickup selector location on my Jazzmaster. I play mostly sitting down, and if I lean over while holding the guitar it switches to the neck pickup. Maybe it just has a mind of its own and knows what tone it likes best, though.

You've probably got enough wire to loosen the nut and rotate it a bit. I keep mine as close to horizontal as possible for that very reason.

For the longest time, i wished I could turn my Jazzmaster in to a Coronado. Turned out well - haven't looked back
