I have this Fender jag pickup, could you please help with identification? Formvar or PE, hand or machine wound, year estimate? It is staggered pole pu. There is a pencil code , is not much visible (5 -19 - 63 or 65 CT or maybe OCT), thanks mates! Works great, all strings well ballanced (no matter that it is staggered), brighter than 62 flat poles....6,2kOHMs

Coincidentally the only Jaguar(s) I have are a 1963 and 1964. The only criterion I am familiar with to distinguish early 60s Jaguar pickups is non-staggered for 62, 63, and staggered thereafter.
Would be interesting to see some examples of pencil codes of 63, 64 ( aside from standard yellow ink stamps) and 65, some owners of 63 to 65 jags here?
I removed the pickups from my Jag yesterday and now I have two questions:
1. Looks like the metal bracket holds the pickup rather strong and the pencil codes would be under it. How one should take it off carefully?
2. When i put everything back the 3rd string started to buzz, but I don't have any idea why... What could be the reason?
