Great info guys, thanks for all the comments I do agree with everything pointed and explained - I tried to look for some sunburst traces but I mostly found white/ish in very, very small traces where metal triangles penetrates the body. And I also agree that some degree of overspray is done thats not factory, its done over the body and back of the neck, probably to preserve it from damage, its done professionally, but not by Fender. Ill post pics of headstock later, and the dimensions, the body match anodized era.

That handwriting looks like "OK'd by George" to me, not "ord by George". Looks like George (and not John, Paul or Ringo) was doing final checks on the assembly line that day.
