WTF
TWoodfrd has fixed worse. And there's that guy in Germany who salvaged a Jaguar as a YT series recently.

I think that's restorable. ;)

Yeah, that is really weird. It looks like the bobbin has shrunken. ???

It's been replaced by a standard size humbucker, the original Travis Bean pickups are wide-range sized IIRC.

Yes, but look at the top half. That bobbin is much narrower than the other one.

Looks like the bobbins are at different angles, just look at the shadows the strings cast.

Yeah it definitely looks like the top bobbin has melted or something, you can see the wire of coil kinda sticking out on the left side, and they tried to cover up with some kind of glue or putty.

honestly? it's bad BUT that's probably going to be the closest i'd ever get to owning one...... but i'd absolutely buy it and then be like "ok, sending this off to get repaired properly"

Nah better get a Kramer instead hehe

The price (€2100) for the toilet seat is just stupid, innit?

As a Travis Bean lover this one hurts my soul :fp:

Also they claim the internal neck rail is untouched but you have to do serious surgery to remove the pickups as they're attached so I dread to think what's actually going on under there

WTF
I'd bet money that thing took a horrible spill at one point in its life and its owner at the time couldn't live with looking at the damage day after day? Now the new owner has the aftermath problems to deal with. :D
