Also on the flip-side I should have added that I've not dealt with them for years..just because I very rarely buy from shops. To be honest I rarely buy guitars at all these days.
Good luck...

Re: Verifying 62’ Jag
Quite excited, I purchased this very guitar today! I'd been eyeing it up for a while, trying to contact the shop, but with inly sporadic responses; probably due to the Covid-19 situation.
Anyway, it should arrive tomorrow and I cannot wait. Spoke to Mo on the phone and he was very friendly, spoke about the tuner (offered to change it for a single stripe kluson, I declined), and received photos of the electronics, which all seem legit. Fortunately, the UPS man must have been passing, as it was packed and on its way to me within half an hour, and is scheduled for delivery tomorrow morning.
Anyway, just thought I'd share with you all the photos I was sent, and I'll let you know how it is when it arrives tomorrow.

Sorry all, not sure how to edit a post, and the images aren't displaying.
Here's a link to a dropbox folder of the photos anyway

Just out of interest and not wanting to derail but what have NoTom done that's questionable? I've never bought anything from them but always enjoyed browsing when I've been in to Denmark St.

Annoying...but yeh thats how sales work.. the most eager party gets the goods.ceilingfan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 7:22 pmBut also congratulations i guess looks like a great guitar. Guess its just the way the world works.
Just think to yourself that it wasn't meant to be...you'll probably find something better and more suited in the end. And you may well find you need the money when the economic downturn comes..and if you don't there will probably be people who do and start unloading their collections into the market..

Re: Verifying 62’ Jag
The shop clearly didn't think you were serious enough to hold the guitar, nor were you serious enough to ask them to do so. Anyone could've walked in off of the street and bought it at any point while you were emailing back and forth, and who even knows if the purchaser on this forum saw this thread *before* buying it. I know it's tense times in the world right now, but maybe take a breath before you start name-calling?ceilingfan wrote: ↑Wed Apr 01, 2020 7:21 pmHonestly i cant believe you snipped this, ive been emailing him back and forth just waiting for a sound snippet to purchase it.

Your completely right, to be frank i was just a bit triggered seeing the very person who bought it reply to my forum post. It was all fairly done and i probably reacted to quick in saying 'bit of a dick move'.mcatano wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 10:31 amThe shop clearly didn't think you were serious enough to hold the guitar, nor were you serious enough to ask them to do so. I did ask them to hold it, but the communication back and forth was not quick and they took days to get back to me which was frustrating (perks of living in Australia) . Something else will come up I'm very sure : )

Your annoyance was totally understandable. The buyers etiquette was pretty poor to be fair, in posting on your thread.ceilingfan wrote: ↑Fri Apr 03, 2020 5:07 pmYour completely right, to be frank i was just a bit triggered seeing the very person who bought it reply to my forum post.
