Something different to look at. Original bridge was missing so I fit a TOM type, sometime I may recreate the original type.
Besides that has the original low frets and fastest neck in the world and original electrics. Have played it out for fun , all in all a keeper. I end up without these oddball guitars for little money and frankly they’re as playable as any vintage with a good setup. Enjoy

those are great, I've had a couple of Futurama badged ones from 1962, pre the skinny neck and they sounded really good unplugged, almost a bit of a Gretschy woodiness, which is weird given they are made out of plywood and plastic!

Looks great. I like these oddball guitars. Is that middle mesh hiding a gold foil of some kind or just for decoration?

The gold basketweave is decoration and a little protection against aggressive strummers. The body construction strikes me as European, similar to some builds I see on this forum which I really admire.

My first electric several decades ago was a red Hag I. The neck was comically narrow and thin. It had a lot of character, for sure.

Craig Scanlon of the Fall played several different Hagstrom 3 (just three pickup variant) over the years. Left handed upside down. A very unique sound. Love those.

I've booked Thalia a few times now and she's always played that Hagstrom, it really does sound great. It has the plinky jag thing going on. A really cool and unique sound.

When the name Thalia Zedek came up I kinda thought she was European given the diversity in this group, I looked her up and really like her music. I have large gaps in my musical knowledge and it's a treat hearing original music that I've not had the pleasure to hear, thanks.

I don't really understand how those sorts of skinny necks are considered 'fast'. I find them kind of painful to play.

I pulled the Hag out and measured the nut, 1 9/16” , definitely skinny and slender in depth with low frets. I have long fingers and don’t find it hard to play but I’m no shredder either, I don’t know, every guitar I own seems to have a totally different neck. As long as the action is reasonably low I find I can adjust my fingering. And I do like the Swedish accoutrements, the vinyl covering reminds me of fondant .
