Just watch that truss rod though! I would be worried about backbow on that thing...

Indeed. It's a good set of gut shots, and we tend to concentrate on whether it's legit vintage or not. But if I was contemplating spending that sort of money, "Plays and sounds phenomenal!" falls a little short for me. I'd want to see shots of a notched straight edge on the fretboard, a straight edge on the frets, plus closeups of the frets. Plus a statement that the truss rod still works. Plus what the current action is and whether it buzzes at all. Which all goes to the significant risk of buying any guitar you haven't had in your hands. But maybe that's just me ? While all that would be a PITA for the seller to add, it expands the potential number of otherwise-nervous buyers. So it's to everyones' benefit.

BTW .. are we talking to the seller here ? ;)

A friend of mine in Pittsburgh has a beautiful Ice blue Jaguar, I'll be a little pissed if he sold it...
(Christopher, also)
I've been to one World's Fair, a picnic, and a rodeo, and that's the stupidest thing i ever heard come out a pair of headphones.

Melbourne, Australia.
