Why does nobody ever mention the switch to heavy-ass ash in the final years?! Isn't it relevant to the "history"?! :-/

They went back to ash? Around when did that happen?

Edit: Actually, weren't fenders primarily alder by the time the Jag was introduced? So the body wood history for Jags kinda runs in reverse?

Dunno, but I just picked up another '76 (used to own one years ago) and it's 4,5kg, ash I guess.
