If this was $3k - $4k I would snag it. Sucks the guy is a bit off with his story and reaction to questions.

If the price could compensate for the questions around the neck and the likely refret costs I’d take the leap too. Like you said the odd ball stories and interactions have kind of soured the whole thing.
