Help identifying this Kawai.

Any ideas what model this is? I've had a ball redoing the wiring harness and piecing together the trem as a stop tail (for now.) The three way Gibson-style switch is not original, and is removed.

It gets weirder. Full size body. 24.75 scale. the pickguard WAS WBW but someone painted it off-white. Got it yesterday, thought it was a bit of a bear to play until I noticed that the nut wasn't cut so the strings touched the zero fret. Deepened nut slots and whoa does this thing play nicely.

That thing is awesome! Love the shape! Love the color scheme!

I’ve heard good things about those old square poled pickups as well. Pretty sure they were made by Teisco.

Yeah. So far All I know about it is that it has teisco pickups. No SN. Vibrato was held together by rusted wire. I secured it, rewired the entire harness back to vintage specs and covered up the hole in the pickguard with a cool sticker. Even found a set of vintage knobs to replace the ones that snapped in half when I was taking it apart. Also found that someone flipped one of the magnets in the neck pickup (each pickup has 2) so the pickup had about half the output it should with it's meager windings. With the right orientation this has quite a lovely sound...Have it set up with 11s and it plays great. With both pickups on we have a RWRP humbucker.

I have got a guitar exactly the same as that. It's white with a white guard and labelled "Concert". I will post pics once I work out again how to do it.

Wow! That is the one! Someone shoved a tune-a-matic in mine (poorly.) Is yours a floating bridge?
