Re: Help identifying this neck
It's a Fender Stratocaster neck, it says it right there on the headstock?
I've seen similar woodgrain on tesico necks however.

Re: Help identifying this neck
Given the woodgrain, thickness of the headstock, Teisco/Kawai come to mind.
So most probably a later 60's/earlier 70's neck. i'm guessing it's a thicker neck.
You might want to check the scale. I doubt it will be 25.5" more likely 24.75" or 24" perhaps. (or another more odd scale)
Teisco/Kawai made mostly shorter scale guitars if I recal correct.
If it's 25.5", Hondo would also be a candidate. But they usally made larger headstock strat necks.

It's 25.5" scale, width 42,5mm at the nut, 52mm at the end. Thickness is 23mm/first fret, 25mm/12th fret.ohm-men wrote: ↑Tue Apr 06, 2021 7:59 amGiven the woodgrain, thickness of the headstock, Teisco/Kawai come to mind.

I'll do some research on Hondo guitars, thanks!

No, that would be a trademark violation, this is obviously a Finder Stratogaster. Made from the finest Yakal and Narra woods just outside Cebu City.

Re: Help identifying this neck
Maybe not when it left the factory but I was the guy who reshaped the headstock on my Yamakee Joodee Performer to the same contour as a Dan Smith Strat. And yes, I still prefer it that way .Yeah, Teisco was my my first thought, but i didn't find any picture of a Teisco guitar with that headstock shape.
So ...
