LPB Jaguar in France

Post by whitewatersky » Mon Jun 28, 2021 9:21 pm

hey there,
has anyone looked into this one ?
https://vintageguitars.fr/produit/fende ... acid-blue/
I'm looking beyond the high price, since I'm resigned to missing the boat on low(er) prices and I'm geographically removed from the good deals and/or touching guitars in person.
I'll sit down tonight and study what I can see in the pics vs. the good info on this forum.
Just thought I'd see if anyone had spotted any glaring anomalies...???

8900 euros - i don't find that too entirely unreasonable compared to some other ones i've seen stateside.

cheers - just got me curious/dubious as it has been for sale for a while...

good point about comparison to US prices. I suppose if I was in the US I wouldn't be looking to buy in Europe .... much of a market for these in Europe ?

I have some extra photos and a more detailed description of it from the shop but I don’t know if appropriate to regurgitate it all on the forum…

If anyone has time to discuss in PM I’d appreciate it

so i've seen sunburst ones from the same year go for between 2000-2600 euro....... i can't see how a custom colour one would be worth 4x the price

thanks - I probably should take more notice of the guitars in Europe/UK. I hadn't been doing so until circling back on this LPB...

I'm a longtime in France living Brit. Where it says in the description that "Elle son terrible" - it actually translates as it sounds amazing. "Terrible", in French, is a bit like "sick" is used in English. A strong negative word that means the opposite when said in slang.

I know is OT, but is the same with “terrific” in English, which in Latin means “that brings terror”.
