Mute - different stampings/font?

Post by whitewatersky » Thu Jul 22, 2021 3:47 am

Has anyone noticed differing type and metal thickness on Jag mutes ?
I have one which is thinner and different font.
Is this normal?

I’d say what you have there is a serviceman copy and two Fenders, one using a worn stamper.
