Could have just saw the tan lines on it from age, and meticulously removed. Maybe drugs? Also, People forget that there was mega boredom before the internet. Likely could have been reactive. Either way, it’s funny, a good story, and the guitar still is great IMO

Yeah that must've been one hell of a job to remove it so meticulously... maybe paint stripper I guess, look at the "drop" there on the left. A pity but yeah, she still looks so nice!
