Explain why this jag sold kinda low
Hey! Ive been looking around at L plate jaguars hoping to get one someday soon and came across this one that sold recently for a relatively low price. It has a replaced bride and was stripped but that doesnt seem like enough to cut over 1,000 off the price. What do you all think? does it look like theres something else going on or did the buyer just get a little lucky?

That's probably exactly what it should have sold for IMO. Those bridges are terrible and the refin (is that even a refin? just a strip job) obviously takes a chunk of change off. The stickers, case of dubious origin, and less-than-stellar description don't help either. Still probably a gamble even at that price as to original electronics etc. If they opened it up and really toured us around and it was in fact all original I bet they'd get $500+ more.

Yeah, $3K is about right for a stripped/refin Jaguar right now.
I sold a fairly beat up but original sunburst '63 Jaguar a couple months ago (no case) for just under $3,700.
