I contacted the seller a couple of months ago too when it was up on LA Craigslist, similarly the response I received was that the item was actually located in Palo Alto and that the guitar was made in Mexico ???

Yeah what if it’s Squier cheap no, it isn’t a risk. I feel 100% safe in telling you that nobody is out there making spot on replicas of an old Mustang to sell you for $300. If it’s an in person thing and you are exchanging cash for the guitar, take a buddy and go yesterday man what are you doing

Aye man, that was my thinking. If it’s Squier cheap, it’s worth the risk. Guess it’s different if the seller is wanting to do it remotely, money first, etc.

Yeah, I'd more concerned about the possibility of him using somebody else's photos of a legit, vintage Fender Mustang.

It really looks the part but, if it looks too good to be true, it probably is!
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.

Yeah I didn’t realize it was some goofy convoluted process I just assumed it was posted and you could pick it up but the seller and you and the guitar all being in separate cities hours away from each other just sounds dumb as hell haha
