If the guy had his tech shape the back of the neck what would stop him from shaping the headstock to taste? Also those spaghetti logo’s were everywhere long before online sales. If the guy shaped the headstock he probably clipped the original logo and slapped the spaghetti on much to the delight of said owner who probably preferred it.

I found this: https://www.olliehalsall.co.uk/uncommon ... enner.pdf/

Suggests Jenner moved to Australia in 1986. Before that, he appears to have been based solidly out of London when he wasn’t touring. Begs the question how the guitar got to the LA area in 91? Or do we have a route for that? It appears Jenner may have died in 90/91?

Edit: Ah, that article says he died in 2003.
Saw something today to follow up on this. I ran across a comment (unconfirmed) on a youtube video that the Cliff Richard band had their truck broken into in 1981 and a large portion of the gear was stolen including, among others, Jenner's Jaguar (and it's anvil flight case, which I've seen is also how Cobain transported the Jag around as well). I tried googling, but did not come up with much other than this page here which does state while on a tour across America, 40,000 pounds of gear was stolen in Hollywood, again, in 1981.

Considering Jenner is not seen with the Jag again after 1981, it's very possible the youtube comment is accurate. Since Jenner supposedly moved to Australia in '86, that suggests Cobain would have bought the Jag from either the thief or any number of subsequent potential owners in the 10 years that followed Jenner losing it.

This guitar certainly has a story. It's a shame it has spent the last 30 years locked up in a storage unit.

Kurt I buy the Jaguar on a magazine called recycle.
Then he went to a house, probably MJ's, in Los Angeles.
I found this information here on OSG.
And I buy it directly from Martin if I remember correctly.
He bought it together with Kris if I remember correctly, I think they went together I have a library of photos of Kurt's Jaguar, very detailed and close-ups, including the headstock.
I have HD and color images too, from the first live with Jaguar to the last one.
I can't upload images, I'll try to find a direct link to my gallery.

Sorry for the mistake, I meant to say that Kris talked about when Kurt bought the Jaguar and I think they were together.
Kurt also had another Jaguar, one he used in the studio I think but I'm not sure.I think that's the one where Kurt is pictured holding it, and he was with Kris I think Those with the B&B neck Yes Kurt had 2 Jaguars

The mentioned theft seems to be a very plausible reason for why a guitar that just had it's neck overhauled / completely modified to Marty's liking would suddenly disappear from his arsenal and from concert footage past 1981. I was having a hard time understanding that after the blocks are removed the jaguar was hardly seen at all especially as Marty would of spent a good chunk of change to have his luthier do those time consuming mods. Another layer to the story!!

Martin listed the Jaguar for sale in the Los Angeles recycling magazine, maybe I don't use it anymore. Or he didn't play it much and there are few videos too, I also found a picture of the magazine with the Jaguar ad, I don't remember if I found it here on OSG or elsewhere but I'm sure of it.
Martin probably never used it again and when he went to Australia he took it with him, and then for some personal or work reason he returned to the United States in Los Angeles. And he put the guitar up for sale I don't remember other details well but here is someone who knows much more than me, and if you ask kindly he will tell you other details, He's a great guy.
When I have time I summarize some information and post it. Now I'm more into building guitars.
