INDO-ROCK
Click on the bands to see vintage pictures of LOTS of wacky stuff.
There were hundreds of "Show Band" at the time.
There is a home made 3 string Flying V Bass in there somewhere.
Click on a video and get lost in the related vids.
These guys all had a unique sound and LOVED to use echo.

Seems as if Leo shipped TONS of Oly White Guitars overseas with Brown Tolex Amps.

This site will keep you busy for hours.
Who cares if it isn't in English?

Wow, nice site. Well the dutch text is merely a band line up and some band history.
Intersting to some degree. But the pictures tell more then a thousand words.
Nice to see all those German 60guitars, like Klira, Hofner, Framus, etc....
Also a lot of Dutch made Egmond guitars. Most amps are German, Italian and housemade ones from Radio's.
Indo Rock was a big movement during the mid 60ties in the Lowlands.

Hey folks! I just found this thread, and indeed spent HOURS downloading and enlarging photos from it. Fascinating stuff.

Were there any other localized movements such as INDO that I might not be aware of? Can anybody here point me to more obscure guitar porn of this nature? I'm HOOKED! :w00t:

As well as awesome Jazzys, Hofners and Framuses, if you look long enough, you'll likely see more WANDRE guitars on this site than anywhere else! :?

That website is just great, don´t forget to check out the special Tielman Brothers picture gallery:

http://indorock.pmouse.nl/tielman61-62.htm

In the sixties, that band was like a Fender offset commercial.

I could waste hours on that site just staring at the guitars...lots of oddballs there. Thanks.
