If it's good enough for Hot Chip / LCD Soundsystem, then it's good enough for me!

Gorgeous !
So what do you think of it ?
I have love/hate relationship with mine.
Sometimes I feel that the pickups are much too strong, the low E string is a bit loose due to the short scale neck, perfect tuning cannot be achieved because the bridge location is slightly too close to the bridge pickup...but this thing has a tons of mojo !

So far I'm pretty much loving everything about it, only I wished the neck was a bit less fat. I was surprised as I expected something similar to the guitar's neck but it is a bit of a "round" feeling, baseball bat-ish neck. Will try to get used to it.
And yeah I'll have to try out different strings too...

Yes the neck is definitely fat and round, but I like it a lot.
Regarding the strings, I have put flat wounds on mine and I definitely love it.
Some basses do not go well with flat wounds, this one does !

I've kind of made it a rule in my internet life that I'm just not going to listen to anyone who rants about mystical shit like PIO caps in guitars & all the rest of that junk that's objectively busted or so slight as to be irrelevant. - mackerelmint
