Pretty good! I have one switch to repair and then I might see if I can demo it.

I need one of these so bad. Sleeping on that one on the guitar center site for $400 will haunt me till my dying day.

and they were only made for 2 years! The thing that really gets me is that if you want to date it by the serial number, all the Yamaha electrics made in 1966 (SG-2, SG-3, SG-5, SG-7, SG-12) have a serial number in the range 0398-3951. Meaning they made 3500 of them in total - 500 - 800 of each, for that year? Same for 1967 (serials 3952-7433). So at the outermost stretch there might be 2000 SG-3s ever made.

Hello everyone.

I see I’m pretty late to the thread here but thought I’d give it a try anyway.

I’ve inherited a 1967 Yamaha SG-3.

I’d like to sell it. I’d like to see it played or even loved.

Thought I would see if there is any interest. If so I can provide lots of pictures and answer any questions.
Bear in mind that I’m new to guitar so my knowledge is developing...

Not sure how to provide pictures here though...

Thanks
Chris.

Hiya, pics are always welcome. Just load them on your favorite image site and then link them in your post with the 'image button'. What country are you in?

But also, bear in mind that trading (or discussing a possible trade) outside the "For Sale" section is prohibited.
You think you can't, you wish you could, I know you can, I wish you would. Slip inside this house as you pass by.
