Seems to me if ya put in that much effort, you’d go ahead and simulate a 12 string head for the mandolin part. Just sayin’.
Isn’t Sunburst a guarantee it’s NOT a refin?

I'm REAL perplexed by the vibrato plate here. I mean, whatever the orig Jag body was...it looked to be a hard tail and ...why would you ever put a plate on that has no purpose whatsoever?! There's not trem cavity under that right? It's just "I got a weird hair up my ass and decided to bolt an unnecessary piece of metal here for no reason."adamrobertt wrote: ↑Thu Oct 22, 2020 1:50 amWhat I don't get about hack jobs like this one is like... if you have a Jaguar, but you want a Les Paul, just fucking sell the Jaguar and buy a Les Paul. Why hack up a perfectly good guitar to turn it into something completely the opposite of what it actually is, especially when the thing that you want already exists? No no, let's bust out the router and have a fucking custom vibrato plate made!s_mcsleazy wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 9:01 amthis one comes up every so often, the dude sometimes tries to sell it on facebook saying it's worth like $5kfever606 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 04, 2020 5:12 amSomeone call The Hague over this war crime...

offsets with hardtails are a recent thing. Old Jaguars and Jazzmasters all had a tremolo - so it is blocking off a rout.tune_link wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:15 am

OH they did this to a vintage Jag!?!?!?!?! Shiiiiiiit this was bad enough when I thought that was one of the modern Jag bodies. That's my bad for not going to the link.will wrote: ↑Tue Oct 27, 2020 9:24 amoffsets with hardtails are a recent thing. I'm pretty sure that there is the Jazzmaster/Mandolin version of this earlier in this thread...

But this one is 10000% better!
with two maple fretboards it would be about the sexiest thing I've seen on here.

Pop is the most wonderful music – as long as it's played with three basses, a string section, and two french horns going "Vroop-Vrooo".

I've got a soft spot for those old Western Swing type customisations, even if they used an April 1956 Musicmaster to do it with, honestly I'd be more excited to get that than an unmodded one.

It's pronounced EE--KO--HEEZ
