How do I make a neck pocket bigger?
How do I make a neck pocket on a teisco bigger? I want to replace the neck with a Strat style neck, or this LTD neck I got. Getting around to work on the tele-star again and the neck is just shitty

I've enlarged the neck pocket on a cheap telecaster body I got from ebay to fit a 7 string neck on, I had some good advice in this thread.
You'll have to decide if the Teisco body isn't to old to be permanently modified this way, I have no idea of their value or lack thereof.
Also I was working with a body and a neck made more or less in the Fender-style playbook, you must make sure that you won't have problems regarding the neck thickness at the heel, the way the bolts are located, the neck angle, and probably other factors.
