So, after I showed my friend my recently-acquired Hsin Mi, she pulled this out of her parts bin... she got it from a trash can ages ago. It lacks a neck (see "wanted" section ), but almost all other parts are there. Most of them are fucked. I took it with me to see if I can fix it up for her. Knowing myself, this is probably going to take years, but still. Extending the fun is good!

Well, it's not mine...I'm giving it back to my friend if I manage to fix it. So I won't really get to play it.
But the pickups... the two back ones read about 7 kOhm, the two front ones around 15 kOhm. It's a bit weird, but hopeful. I think this thing has been rained upon or something, because the original switches and the replacement pots are all rusted. They will need to be replaced, which is a bit of a shame as I can't easily imagine transplanting those awesome slider knobs to another type of switch.
It's all very early anyway.
