I've already got a request in to him for a better pic.

Some people have been stamping numbers on the blank RI F-plates and I want to make sure this one is OK before I would plunk down anything on it. Not that I have any reason to mistrust this guy personally, you never know where he might have got it from!

That does look really nice Doug. I like dots and binding, but I think I slightly prefer blocks. At any rate, it does look perfect as is  :?

Thanks!

I'm rather pleased with it myself!  :)

Although I might be routing it for hambackers soon...

Yesterday I made some time to pick through the last of my vintage bridge parts stash. I selected the best of what was left and built was is probably the last really good bridge I could make. It came out better than I thought!

After that I completed the setup, to include the trem-loc (using both Mel's and Tom's excellent websites as a guide).

I can now declare this project OVER, at least until I score some vintage pickups. I'm really happy with it and think it will be my main player. I don't even feel bad that it turned out to be a '66 instead of the '65 that sparked the project.

Total cost = $2200

And I still need some vintage pups and a case.  :o

Was is a bargain? Probably not. Was it fun? Most definitely. Will I do it again?

Yep.

And some real vintage knobs. Too bad nobody's got the real ones anymore.    ;)

The more I play it.... heck, the more I even just LOOK at it, the more I like it.

Not bad for just a pile of parts....    :)
