Looks amazing! Real improvement. Did you say it was your first time using rattle cans for something like this? Great job! Metallics are tough.

Yes! Everything was completed using Oxford Aerosol Nitro. It turned out quite well, considering my limited skills and tools.

I'm glad you patched up all those routed pickup holes etc, that would have bugged me knowing they were still lurking under the pickguard.

Oft this is beautiful, what a restoration!
A side note, but is that Thomastik Infeld flats you have on it man? It’s medium scale a Mustang bass takes isn’t it? Bass player in my band got one and was thinking of trying a set.

It’s La Bella 760F-MUS. They are spec’ed for short scale basses. You don’t have to worry about the length.
