We're getting somewhere now.
I didn't document the process, but after I sand sealed the neck, I airbrushed some semi-opaque tint in the areas where there were joins.
I then sprayed over the whole headstock with amber tint. Mixing in a bit of brown. The colour match is pretty good.
tomorrow, I'll cut the clear coat back down and spray a few more coats of gloss and it's done.
