Cool Regan! You should go for it!  8)

The first coats of Dakota was applied today  :D

I think it's going to look great in the end. I will sand this down smooth and keep the layer of paint to a minimum before applying the nitro clearcoat.

Looking good!!!!

I probably will go for it. No hurry though. I need to see how my Jag project turns out. I may never want to do another refin project after I see the results!

We have been so dry around here for so long. Then, I was ready to shoot the stain on my Jaguar 2 days ago and it started raining and hasn't let up since. I'm not complaining though.....we really need the rain badly.

WARNING!!!!!!!

DO not use the primer I've used for this project (plasti-kote super primer) As soon as I put the first coat of nitro, the finish shrunk(?) and bubbles appered in some places.  :(

I had to take it all off and when i did, it all came off like a snake skin  :'(

I have to do it all over again....

English version: aw - that sucks!  :(

Wow, sorry you had the problems but it looks like you got it taken care of. It looks really good!

Do you guys only allow 2 weeks time for the clear to cure? I was thinking it needed a minimum of 30 days.
