source for paint supplies?
I'm looking for some Sea Foam Green in an Aerosol for restoration.
I'm having some challenges finding this in the right blend/mixture
Not sure I want to use Nitro btw.. I don't know much about that stuff, but I think I've read where it's hard to work with.
Anyone here have any advice?

Letting us know where you are is going to help. Sources will change wildly depending on what country you're in.kidblast wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 2:56 pmI'm looking for some Sea Foam Green in an Aerosol for restoration.

And Nitro is easy to work with, it's just super toxic and takes a hell of a long time to cure fully. It'll be flash-dry by the next day but not cured enough to polish for weeks.
Silly Rabbit, don't you know scooped mids are for kids?

ReRanch should really shut their website down, they haven’t been active in a very long time.
The next best thing is Ohio Valley Nitro, who are still in operation: https://www.ohiovalleynitro.com/

does no one like Gracey paint? I’ve used four shades of theirs with no problems.
Their surf green was a close enough match for my old jaguar headstock.

I know you were asking about a specific color, but for anyone else reading this thread in the future, StewMac also carries nitro in spray cans, including candy/metallic kits.

Re: source for paint supplies?
Older thread, but I have had used Gracey plenty of times, and just bought some Crown Royal purple from Solo Music Gear in Canada. I have used many brands of clear coat, including Lowes Minwax, and I have found Stew Mac's to be the best at putting down a nice solid coat. Minwax is way cheaper, and perfectly adequate, but I bought a few cans from Stew Mac for special projects. But hats off to Reranch for having been first and consistently good. In dozens of cans, I only had one Inca Silver and one Goldtop unable to spray, and in defense of Reranch, those metallics had sat for more than a few years before I tried them. And hell, I don't think I warmed them up as suggested, so even they might have been usable.

Do you have any pics of your refins?
