i have a pedal in a white sparkle finish that i'd really like to see on a guitar. it looks like a really cold ("arctic"?) white until the light catches the flake in i, then it looks almost like the "champagne" car colour or something.

Isn’t that what you’re doing? The world has plenty of SB JMs and to me, SB refins are never as good as the original ones. Plus lots of custom colored guitars were sunburst underneath. SB is like fender’s default finish haha.

It looks slightly more coppery than the other closeup pics &, if it was mine, I'd do everything I could to replicate this image, but obviously find a pro to do it. If not copper/red my vote is a nicely aged Charcoal Frost.

Yeah, that was peak Indomaster era. There used to be more pics online but i can't find them... Anyway, the reason it's called the Indomaster is because I made it look like Eddy C's JM from The Crazy Rockers (Indorock band)

Of my Jazzmasters (of which there are currently three, until I can paint my Tonebomb body) it's my favorite. I put the Constitution Class refit (Motion Picture era, designed by Andrew Probert based on Matt Jeffries's Original Series design, and incidentally my favorite version) Enterprise in adhesive vinyl on it inspired by Decoboom's Rockets Away design. It's a CV body I got from Reverb and a full-feeling CV neck I got at a wildly nice price from Franklin Guitar Works on eBay (nashmaster knows what I'm talkin' about!). The pickguard and WRHB-JM (AlNiCo pole version) pickups are from EYGuitar (which, jeez, I order a lot from). It currently has a Staytrem bridge and an AllParts locking trem (that I cleaned up the pivot plate on a sanding block) on it and, to go with the space-age theme, I got one of those Fender American Ultra string trees. Everything else is Switchcraft and CTS in vintage values.

Before anyone suggests it, I did ask Collin aka Highnumbers if he had time to fix that for me but he does not. I thought it would be a fun OSG thing if he could do it but that's ok, it's not important

Really wish that I did have the time, though. Life is super hectic lately and even getting time for my own projects is a late-night/weekend challenge.

The body looks really cool as-is, but I do think black would look awesome on this if you insist on a refin.
