I can't wait to get started on your tele.
Yeah, I'm SO glad you could take it on! I've been trying to scale back on the all the stuff I have going on. It's a relief to have something less to worry about. I can't wait to see it when it's finished!

I rally LIKE that Mary Kaye, the way it's whiter under the guard. That looks great...

OMG... Yesterday I put another coat of blue and I just spent all evening (literally 4.5 hours) hand-polishing it out with progressively finer compound and then wax. It looks FANTASTIC... quite possibly the best refin I've ever done!

The completed refin... all polished out. The surface is like glass! There's a few blems, but overall I'm proud of it:

The camera just didn't adequately catch the sheen, it really looks nice.

Stand by for some assembly shots... hopefully this evening!

Sakes alive that's great work, Doug!

Looks great Doug.

I see it's sunbathing by the pool now? Guitars must have a luxury lifestyle at your house!

Thanks so much everyone. I really needed something to turn out right these days... it feels good!

Now if I can only find a vintage D&B neck!
