Jazzmaster Pickguard help needed
I have a 66 Jazzmaster and I would like to replace the pickguard with a cream or mint guard. It has a black one now, and I just wouild like to have the option to see it in the white or mint or creme guard.
I know the pickguards offered are different depending on whether it is an AVRI, CIJ or a vintage.
Since many of you guys have restored JMs I thought I should consult with you on where to get one and which ones will fit.
Thanks
Ed

an AVRI mint green will drop right in...so will an Allparts guard (but pick the vintage version - there's two)1946dodge wrote: I have a 66 Jazzmaster and I would like to replace the pickguard with a cream or mint guard. you shouldn't have much trouble finding a guard that'll fit

yes, Allparts (www.allparts.com) has them...or you could go to www.angela.com and buy the Fender AVRI part

I was going to say this place:
http://www.darrenriley.com/parts.html
They have the avri guard which is nicer looking than the allparts one.
