If there's an edit function, I need help finding it. If not, can you provide one?
Also, when I add "smilies", they appear in the Preview but do not appear in the post...what do I need to do? Or does this need repair?
Thanks,
Doug

Re: Edit function
The edit button should be in the upper right corner of your post.
Previewing the post eats smilies, and messes up URLs if you don't use the url tag. It's one of the great mysteries of our day.

Re: Edit function
The edit function will only work for members in the Pat# group. The forum software used to move members to the new group automatically once they reached 50 posts but when we upgraded the mod stopped working and unfortunately, the person who wrote the mod no longer supports it. So we were never able to figure out how to get it working again and we have to move members manually. Depending on how long someone has been a member, he/she may see Pat# under the avatar, but still be in the Pending group as far as the database is concerned. The end result is, a member will have to let an admin know that he/she's passed 50 posts and needs to be changed over. There's a sticky at the top of this forum telling users how to go about that. Once the change is made the edit function will work and the FS section will be visible.
