I feel a bit dumb in asking the question, but I can't seem to find the area in the OSG that lists items that are for sale.
I have exceeded 50 posts and don't have anything to sell, but would like to see what others have for sale - what am I missing?
Also, nothing happens when I click on "Gallery" @ top of page................does this not exist?
I'm fairly new here but have been on several other forums for years..........
Thanks!

Wow - that was quick!!
If the answer was in FAQ's then I missed that too, adding to my embarassment. Anyway, thanks so much!

I wonder if we can put a banner that only the under 50's profiles can see, that says "there is no such thing as an OSG for sale section. It is a myth." then when it's revealed, it is a pleasant surprise! That way nobody has a reason to post pad, or ask why they can't find the mythical section.

I like this idea

but I think we all talk about what we've bought/sold in a lot of different topics so that'd give it away and people would still ask

I like the approach used by an Aussie guitar forum. You have to have 50 posts plus have been a member for one month before you can access the For Sale section. No point in posting 50 rubbish posts in your first day. It makes you spend more time there.

It's a bit like that here. Rubbish posts are monitored, or so it's said. Plus, once members reach above 50, the FS section isn't automatically available anymore. Last I read is that members have to ask permission to get access once they're above 50.

How long do the Guitar Shop access requests usually take to process? I'm wondering if mine was lost in the hurricane.

Mine took less than a day.
I made it really short.
The directions mention that processing time is inversely proportional to length of request.
Maybe your request was too long?
