but on a photoforum i am, we get the latest posts via email

that way you can see & read & choose to follow the thread or not

example if there is a topic about ,say amps, and i'm not interessed i can skip (except when it is about sookie
who puts his 59 bassman on a "surf"board ! fun ! ) without reading the complete forum.

I think you can set this up .. try looking in your profile, on the left hand side there should be a tag entitled "Notifications & Email" .. try that.
