Forum posts per page default - how many do you see?

5 posts per page? How can I change this to 40, like all the other forums I'm on? It's so irritating.

I don't think there's any way to change it... Personally, I prefer the 5 per page.  It doesn't get so cluttered, and it's easier to see each post!

I do and always have seen 15 posts per page  .....

the fact that some of you see 5 per page has been noted and is being looked at by our backroom boys...  who will not get their daily bowl of gruel until they solve this problem  ...  stay tuned

I get 14 per page...the 15th always starts the second page....

The forum is set to display 15 posts per page/per topic and I can't find anything that help to identify why you guys are only seeing 5.  Can you tell me more about what browser you are using and what OS?  I would also try deleting any off line content/cache and then logging out completely and logging back in for now.  If the problem persists I'll look to ask for some forum software support from the development community.  I also edited the title of the topic so that it might get some other members to share their experience.

I'm definitely seeing more than 5.  I honestly thought it was around 7-9 per page, but it is in fact 15.  I didn't think Domino was speaking literally, I thought he was exaggerating.  I never really counted until now...

I just knew that it was less than the other guys...

Yeah, I see more than 5... I just hate it. 

I never have a forum set for anything less than 40-50 posts a page.

Well, not everyone likes it like you do and not everyone has boatloads of time and/or bandwidth to load 40-50 posts a page.  And on a personal note, I'd like to thank you for having me spend two hours of my time going through SMF support forums and our forum code trying to figure out why you were only "seeing 5."

It's okay.  I felt pretty dumb after I actually counted!

  I just like this format so much better.  The other forums are like 50,000 posts per page, so this one seems like so much less.
