A quick note on the "Epiphone Deluxe" tuners; they're fantastic. As rock-solid as the locking ones on my PP Jazzmaster. Impressed again by this guitar.

Mastery tremolo's are so amazing. I know they get crapped on for their price, but they work so well. Smooth and even movement. The ones I have move effortlessly. Lovely setup!

I concur about the Mastery trems. I've had one on Nelvis for a few years now.

Worth every penny in my opinion. Such an important part of a Jazzmaster or Jaguar...why WOULDN'T you want the best there is??

No lock. I have plenty of floating trems that don't lock, and it's a pain in the ass if I want to retune (probably gonna convert my Mustang to a hardtail because of this). If I can save $110 and get the thing I want with an AVRI, that's kind of a no-brainer. Honestly, sucks that all the aftermarket options (Mastery, Descendant, Halon) are all missing this.

I've never used a lock in my life, and I've been playing since 1982. So, not an issue for me. Mastery is better at everything else, so it gets my vote.

YMMV, of course.

I love that amp. A PRRI FSR is perfection.
