thanks! Not lucky, just reckless. very few luthiers have intrigued me as much as Harvester. I wanted to be somewhat sustainable and local, and his riffs on old designs are refreshing (I had a Kay with that crazy headstock when I was 16)

I'd absolutely hate to be on the sales end of someone like me requesting a custom guitar, but Anthony has been great. Very delightful experience.
Yeah, he is a good and patient man. I know he had to be with me. ;)

This one is shaping up to be special. Is the body going to be the gray color from the first pic or will it match the headstock? I can't wait to see this thing finished.

body is grey. pickguard will be that orange. there’s a theme with the big circles that’ll be a little extra fun.

my color choices came from several of the temples in kyoto, especially fushimi inari.

but ALSO, two of my favorite automobile colors ever (briefly owned a busted-beyond-restoration orange 912 in my youth)

and lovely nardo grey

my biggest problem is i want more than one, and it took me like 13 years to get this one started.

this thing is so rad. imgur totally wrecks colors for image hosting so forgive the out of wack saturation.

Nice, I've got two myself (I live in Melbourne)--Antonio #36 and a Firebird-ish one (reverse, neck through body). Pretty happy with both of them. AP is generally easy to deal with. I haven't been in touch with him in ages but check his Instagram once in a while. I know he does some stuff with Lance Amplification (that dude lives probably 7km from me as the crow flies, if not less).

Nice colours/design.

I have Novaks (P90s) on my Antonio. I love them for that guitar; keen to buy some more Novak pickups for some of my other guitars. Keen to hear your take on yours when you get it.

Looks like it should be on its way soon. Assume you're NOT in Australia, so shipping etc might delay things a bit perhaps.

thanks for chiming in! would have loved to go metal neck, but this was a stretch as is. I REALLY like the lance pickups he’s putting on his guitars but I wanted to be difficult/different. I may ask him to pack some lances in with the guitar as well before it heads to California. they do sound phenomenal, and I kinda want them in my baritone.

I’m in no hurry for the instrument. just enjoying seeing the process.

That is such a cool guitar. I love the fretboard dots especially! The lipstick in the bridge is also an interesting touch, very intrigued to see the finished product!

the one oversized dot is probably my favorite part. that’s why I needed a harvester. it’s the little details that grab me.

we were unsure how to attack the controls, i suggested the daka lever in the circuit mosaic, and requested a push button and level control for the BTB lipstick
