Hard to tell from the Thomann pics if the white blonde finish is actually transparent, so I found some other pics. It appears so.

Posted this in the comp stang thread since they came out at the same time. Way more interested in what squier does rather than fender lately.

They actually seem to be trying new things (even if it's only different color schemes), plus the quality and pricepoint of a Squier makes it hard to beat. I love the slightly transparent white body on these new ones but I'm not huge on that gold pickguard.
