You can order directly from Fender as the Mustang is currently in stock. Also, you can find some in shops with actual in-store photos on Reverb. Watch out for some shops on Reverb that are less than honest about whether the guitar is in stock or guitar is a pre-order, especially listings with the stock Fender photos.

I was watching a guitar from a shop with in-store photos when I received the offer from another shop with the stock Fender photo. Before accepting the offer, I msg’ed them to verify if guitar was in their store or would be shipped directly and immediately from Fender. They replied it was in the store and can be shipped that day.

Mine arrives on Saturday.

My Vintera II Mustang came in, figured pictures might be helpful to anyone on the fence. My first thoughts are super positive. The guitar is super well built. Nothing stands out to me as cheap feeling or overlooked. The neck feels on the skinny side and comfortable, very similar to the 60s Mustang I used to have. The paint is beautiful. The shade of blue is right up my alley. And the purple burst! Pickups are typical mustang sounding. I was pleasantly surprised on the shade of the headstock and neck. They really did a nice dark amber tint. And the white tuners! Overall super impressed.

The Mustangs have to be my favorites of this whole series. Just really appealing all around. I’m tempted to pick up a Mustang Bass some day…

I guess it's the lighting but wow, that's a really bright yellow finish compared to the more subdued yellow/orange ones I've seen on Reverb in-shop photos.
