That lnca JM looks awesome, plus it comes with the PV65 pickups installed!

Bound neck with dots looks great, but the wrong decal on the headstock (and no witch hat knobs on the pots) is a bummer. :(
Yeah, also as much if not more than my FMS AV65 JM cost me 2nd hand.

I know this is flogging a dead horse, but my god MIJ stuff has become stupidly expensive.

To be fair I think everything has become more much expensive not just MIJ, as a Vintera II Jazzmaster/Jaguar is the same price/higher of this FSR Kinko depending where you are based, and the AVII is almost double or more.

And the Kinkos are extremely small batch with custom specs, new regular Traditional 60 Jazzmasters/Jaguars are like 25-40% cheaper. I got a brand new Sunburst Traditional 60s for just about half the price of this Inca Silver Kinko JM when I was in Japan last year at Ishibashi.

I think the “standard” MIJ line is still a great deal if you can buy them in Japan and avoid shipping/taxes.

Holy crap!
These are amazing!
They also have the squiggly cartoon on the headstock.

Bit of a closer look at the Butterscotch finish from the Fender Japan site.

^Those cyclones are just too cool. Love the little cartoon on the headstock.

First I've seen this year of Sonic Blue Kinko Jazzmaster

Traditional Line with medium jumbo frets and mustang bridge. Looks like they're in-shop sales only too which'll go some way to stopping the flippers

It's seems all of their FSRs are now. Perhaps they got fed up with so many foreigners buying them then flipping them on reverb or ebay for nearly twice the price.

On the downside, those foreigners who genuinely wanted to just buy and play these will have a harder time buying them at a reasonable price.

I'm not sure it's all of them. A handful of Sonic Blue jags just dropped without the instore sales only tag so we'll see.
