Not sure when Daphne Blue became a limited edition color, but it's on sale for $120 off at Guitar Center today, 359 instead of 479. Add in that it was also actually in stock at my local GC and couldn't pass it up. Had to sell a Squier a few years back (Oly White looked more like Refrigerator White) bc we needed money, so this just gets a Jaguar back in the house. No pix bc I just ordered and haven't driven over to get it yet.
But hey, Jaguars on sale is good info

Yeah! 70s Jag? These are great! My gf got the other limited edition (shell pink)!
Great necks! I like them way better than I liked my VM Jag (also that very pale Olympic White).

Yeah Refrigerator White was NOT it. Esp having a MIJ (CIJ? I forget) 93/94 one that has aged on its own. Somewhere i have a pic of the 2 of them side by side about 10 years ago and it was really really obvious they weren't close to the same color. Didn't see a Shell Pink at GC online, but I was shocked when I checked store availability and it said our store had them in stock. I figured it would be the floor model or something, and I did see one hanging there, but they went and grabbed a box from the back.
I did see the Graffiti Yellow Squier Sonic Mustang and 200 is really tempting. even if it would want pickup and electronics upgrades. Hardtail Mustang would be real similar to my Squier Duo Sonic. One of these days I will replace the gold pickguard on that thing. Definitely want to put the 11s on that I bought for it. Can't believe they comes w/9s on them. Then again, the low E on the Basss VI I got last week is floppy as hell, so it will be getting better strings too.

The Sonic Mustangs have thin bodies FYI - like a quarter inch thinner than a standard Mustang.

Interesting. Do the Sonic mustangs already have the usual routing for the switches and such? I've heard folks not liking the ceramic pickups, but for something to just have sitting around to mess with, would be just fine. I already have a Duo Sonic that sits nearby and have been playing the new Jag a lot. Put 11s on last night, need to intonate a few strings but need a better screwdriver. Been playing it a lot since I got it, it definitely feels better than the Jag I sold 5 years ago

I don't know, sorry - I just looked at one in a store. They disapprove of disassembling the guitars there.

I remembered that Colin on The Guitaristas had a Sonic Mustang on his show last year.
Sonic Mustang Insides Link jumps to where he has it opened up. It looks like just a square cutout, which may have room for the other electronics in there, not sure how it compares to a Squier that already has those electronics. Normal mustangs have more of a U shape cut out for the pickups and electronics looking at another video.
