Just an update to say I am still playing and still loving this guitar. Just does not let me down.

Learned the full Ventures Christmas album over the holiday period in December ha!

And also have been playing a lot (A LOT!) of rockabilly stuff on it (Eddie Cochran, Cliff Gallup Stray Cats etc).

Great guitar.

Those pickups bring the twang, very Gretsch like in some ways, yet bigger sounding maybe. They’re made for a guitar with a vibrato, such a waste on a hardtail imho.
