I like dots not blocks on the jags...
I don’t like blocks or binding on *any* Fender guitars, for what it’s worth. The growing contingent of B&B fans here is a bit weird to me to be honest. Most people look to the golden age of Fender guitars as the ideal, but there’s a lot of CBS era (even if it’s just transition era) love on this forum that I don’t see elsewhere online.
It's only because we be the cool kids.

Oh dang.
If I didn‘t just buy a used Bass VI a month or so ago - I could really be tempted here. More than from the JM (I guess due to the lack of Binding (at least… I‘m not averse to Blocks on the JM either… I just believe that the matching headstocks look better with „more“ features than the plain fretboard.

The JM is a probably, a jag would be a definitely. Interested in seeing the difference in color between my Jarman and this.

Dammit, BMM Jazzmaster WITHOUT block inlays and binding is the business for me. Finally! :w00t:
Squier has done everything right, at least for me.

Why do they keep making beautiful Jags with matching headstocks but no binding or block inlays? I mean if you are going to offend the easily-offended traditionalists with a matching headstock, might as well fully piss them off by actually making it a deluxe guitar! CME and Anderton's did the same thing. They asked for the dreaded 60s Classic Vibe in Silver Sparkle and Shell Pink.
Would literally have paid an extra $150 to get the Silver Sparkle Bass VI WITHOUT blocks and binding. I'd really rather have the wood than all the extra plastic. ;P

Perhaps it will be. CME and Andertons often team up to order special runs from Fender. I know Thomann is big enough that they don’t *need* a partner to get the minimum order volume, but then again, these aren’t Strats and Teles, so it might make sense to spread the financial risk among multiple stores in different markets.

Eh? Who are these easily offended traditionalists upset by vintage correct matching headstocks on a 'custom' colour?

These Indonesian necks don't have the skunk stripe now. That's cool.
