This has to be the craziest thread ever! If only my lack of sustain and stamina could be blamed on my lack of tape, vintage or otherwise!
Yeah i've also noticed that you just don't get that same vintage Vibe when you lack vintage tape!

Well, there is another alternative to true vintage tape...
If you can get ahold of a can of Mojo, sprinkle liberally on new tape. It works excellent, but Mojo is getting hard to come by. Some people swear by Vibe, but I prefer true Mojo anyday.
Vibe is fake, and used by posers who can't afford true Mojo...
Vibe and Mojo are registered trademarks and used here by permission. The author is not affiliated with Vibe Corporation or Mojo Inc. in any way, shape , or form.
Safety goggles are rquired when using Mojo. Do not get Mojo in eyes. Rinse skin immediately if exposed to Mojo. Do not inhale. Do not operate motor vehicles or heavy machinery immediately following use of Mojo. Do not gig for 15 minutes after applying Mojo. Ask your Love Doctor if Mojo is right for you...

Mojo sounds like "Happy Fun Ball"! Do not make any sudden moves around Mojo...
One more guitar, then I'll practice!

bah, I don't use anything but pre CBS VIntage Mojo. The new stuff is outsourced, so it doesnt sound right in the USA.
I prefer their older stuff.

I heard Angela had some NOS fender pickguard tape, just call and ask for Steve. He doesn't want to give it up, so tell him you know he has some, and keep pestering him until he gives in.
Why should we buy postage stamps? We can make our own.
