I had to look up who John Squire was. Never heard of the guy and I actually have some Stone Roses stuff, they just never impacted me much, I guess. I remember seeing him play Coronados in videos IIRC. Bass player had a b/w granite finished Rick hollowbody bass I think.

Technically he's a very proficient guitarist but this one really is OTT on the "buzzers & bells" isn't it?
He never did anything of any merit after The Stone Roses split. Some may well argue that their second album was a pile of shit too. I actually kinda like it. Clearly not a patch on the first though.
