Well, it's been just over a year since Grant McLennan's (Go Betweens) untimely death. RIP Grant! Here he is seen playing Steve Kilbey's Bass VI in the duo's Jack Frost collaboration. This is the same VI used on many classic resordings by The Church.

It was a real wrench to lose GW last year. In fact, the whole of 2006 mostly sucked for me, that included. I never met him personally, but I have friends who knew him and were at his funeral. Sad times.
They both look really happy in that clip, which seems kinda sad to me too when you think that's a period when they were said to be both heavily using drugs, which I guess may've contributed towards GW's early death.
Anyway, beautiful VI .. that Coronado XII that Steve's strapped into doesn't look too shabby either!
