Wouldn't surprise me if the button holes on the non-USA made versions are slightly oval instead of round circles...

I would love to see that. Your builds look amazing!CROSS_guitars wrote: ↑Fri Jan 17, 2020 3:09 pmI made a full scale one years ago with a Jag tremolo. It does look better.
I can't find any pics of it right now but I'll dig them up.

Re: Squier 2020 line
Well, I didn't think I was in the market for a new guitar but...
My black Toronado has been the only guitar I've kept through every giant move. I got it when I was stationed in Germany and it's been everywhere with me. I always wanted a Cyclone II also, but by the time I had a somewhat permanent residence they were discontinued and hard to find.
Then they add in a Tele-master...
I don't INTEND on getting a 2nd Toronado (again lol) but that blue is so pretty it would be a really tempting if not for those first two. If I ever get a 2nd Toronado, it would probably have to be the American special with the p-90s. I had GAS hard for one they had locally but it was way out of my price range back then.

I must have lost the rest of the pics due to imageshack being crap.
Here's the body. It has a starcaster shaped headstock.

I couldn't find photos reposted of the GC-leaked mini jazzmaster, but I found they are still in Google's cache:

Anyone seen anything else about the Paranormal line? I’ve not seen any other retailer information for anything from NAMM

Re: Squier 2020 line
Guitar Center jumped the gun. There's been no formal announcement from Fender so it's in limbo for now. Weird no word yet and NAMM is almost over. And its on EVERY guitar forum. I think they've rolled lines out in the past after NAMM to get away from the overwhelming noise of press releases and official announcements. That really only works if a giant online retailer doesn't screw up, though.thatfenderguy wrote: ↑Sun Jan 19, 2020 11:45 amAnyone seen anything else about the Paranormal line? edit: Oh, and they're not displayed at NAMM, that's the big giveaway on Fender's intentions.
I'm sure some Fender dealer in '64 looked at the new Duo-Sonic II and thought, "That's not a Duo-Sonic. That's a Mustang".

Could this have been intended for the summer show? When Guitar Center originally published the Paranormal info the guitars all had June release dates. Maybe we'll see more in a few months.

Re: Squier 2020 line
well my GAS for that pink cyclone probably won't wane between now and June, so now we all just play the waiting game
